ABOUT US

We, Jeroen and Josje, 14 years ago, we fell in love with this beautiful bit of nature and were crazy enough to buy and restore this ruin in the middle of nowhere. Now we have turned it into a small scale camping and built some unique accommodations, so we hope you will love visiting this place as much as we love living here. We warmly welcome you to this beautiful and rugged place in the heart of nature!

Pitch your tent on one of our spacious camping spots, enjoy the view from your treehouse, or settle into one of our other accommodations and let the adventure begin!

OUR TERRACE

Centrally located on our 90-hectare property, you’ll find our main building, an old ruin that has been rebuilt into the heart of La Solane. Here you can relax on the covered terrace with a cup of coffee or an ice cream. During summer, we serve a mostly vegetarian meal several evenings a week and once a week we usually have a Pizza evening, with pizzas from our wood oven.

The main building also houses our small shop, where you’ll always find fresh organic bread, drinks, ice creams and some basic groceries.

Please note that our terrace is not a full-time restaurant, you are welcome to grab a drink and use the terrace at any (reasonable) time and we serve dinners several nights during the week, but we do not serve breakfast or lunches.

FACILITIES

There are two sanitary buildings on the property, located near the swimming pool and at the terrace. Both locations have a great view, so hopefully, even doing the dishes will become a pleasant activity.

Laundry service is available upon request, and a washing line to hang things up. The tent spots do not have connection to electricity but there are a few spots where you can charge your devices.

There is a small swimming pool, with a field to lie in the sun and fully relax. But if you want something more adventurous there are also few places along the river to swim and sunbathe.

There is a small playground with a trampoline for the young kids, but we also have a table tennis table and some board games you can play on the terrace.

We have a few donkeys on the property which you can cuddle with and brush, they also love being fed any leftover fruits and vegetables.
